Ingredients: Nettle, Fenugreek, Red Raspberry Leaf, Blessed thistle, Fennel, Milk Thistle

 

How to use:

Add a teaspoon of lactation tea to every cup of hot water. Allow to steep for 1-2 minutes, depending on how strong you like your herbal tea. For best results, drink this tea 3-4 times a day to help increase breast milk.

Tips:

  • Use with a tea strainer spoon
  • For a stronger brew, steep longer. Note that a longer steep may result in a mouth-puckering bitter brew 
  • For best results, drink 3-4 times a day. Regularity is everything when it comes to increasing your breast milk supply!  
  • NOT FOR USE DURING PREGNANCY. Many galactagogue herbs are not recommended for use during pregnancy in greater than culinary amounts.

Fenugreek:

Known for it's maple syrup aroma, fenugreek helps to lower blood sugar levels, lower inflammation, reduce cholesterol. Fenugreek leaves help appetite control, keep the body hydrated and also increases milk production.

Red Raspberry Leaf:

Alleviates symptoms of postpartum depression, increases uterine tone, and aides in milk production.

Blessed Thistle:

Stimulates hormones (prolactin and oxytocin). Prolactin boost the milk supply, and oxytocin releases the milk.

Fennel:

Helps to increase milk volume, aiding in baby weight gain.

Milk Thistle:

Stimulates milk production

I believe this is working

Love this tea! I was a little confused on how it works as a recovery tea but seeing it help with the bloating after giving birth really makes me feel better both mentally and physically. I will def be ordering more along with the lactation tea this time.
